Adsteam Offshore

Adsteam Offshore began as a family business and evolved out of Elder Prince Marine and Stirling Marine Services. The company has more than 80 years of marine experience in the Fremantle environs, North West Shelf and other West Australian coastal and offshore regions. Adsteam Offshore is part of the Oceans and Terminals division.

Adsteam Offshore owns and operates a fleet of 25 vessels including utility vessels, tugs and workboats, fast pilot and personnel craft, heavy duty landing craft and flat top barges. A complement of seafarers, some with more than 30 years of service, have contributed to the group's many firsts:

  • Provision of shooting vessels for the earliest marine seismic survey in Western Australia.
  • Involved in the initial development of Barrow Island. Vessels shipped geological survey and exploration drilling equipment to the island.
  • Vessels were used to establish emergency helipads on offshore islands.

Recent major projects include the provision of vessel and manning services to Allseas during the laying of the Bass Strait Gas Pipeline between Victoria and Tasmania and to Apache Energy/Tamboritha for the Gibson/South Plato Oil Field Development.
